BrunnerInvest AG was founded in 1991, in Zurich, by Erwin Brunner. He has 27 years experience working with the Swiss Banking Corporation (now UBS) in Zurich and Geneva, most recently as a managing director of the asset management group. He then subsequently became the managing director of Rothschild Bank in Zurich. In this time he has gained 35 years experience in wealth management and over 18 years experience in managing fund of funds. He is the principal shareholder, CEO and fund manager at Brunnerinvest AG.

BrunnerInvest AG has 10 employees in total, 6 of which form the investment and fund management committee. The members have extensive investment and banking experience as well as the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and International Securities Market Association (ISMA) qualifications amongst them. Furthermore, they have obtained their respective qualifications from as varied institutions as the University of St. Gallen (HSG), Friedrich Schiller University Jena (Deutschland), University of Twente Enschede (Holland), the Stockholm School of Economics (Sweden) and the Harvard Business School of Boston (US). The economics and mathematics team similarly have over 60 years cumulative investment experience.

BrunnerInvest AG is audited by KPMG Europe LLP, Zurich, and is a member of the Swiss Association of Asset Managers (SAAM).

BrunnerInvest AG, as an asset manager of collective investment schemes, has been licensed by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA (former SFBC).
